Riverdale Residence Before and After
It was a great pleasure working with this client in Riverdale. She was so ready to renovate when she called --we immediately got to work selecting the kitchen and bathroom fixtures, lighting and finishes. We transformed a three bedroom, three bathroom apartment that had been two apartments that were previously joined (but very poorly) within 6 months --the actual work only took 2 months. It was an almost gut renovation--we took down some walls and reconfigured the space to create more graceful flow. I will post more before and after photos!
This is a sneak peak at the Master Bathroom. By splitting the tile up with the border, it creates an illusion of more space--the shower and the rest of the bathroom are joined visually. The glass tile adds a sense of depth as well.
As you can see in this "before" photo the bathroom is very short on square footage. I do love pink but this tile had to go! The frameless shower enclosure in the after photo also creates a seamless transition into the shower, creating less of a boxed in feeling.
