Astor Place Duplex
The program for the apartment was pretty straight forward. The client wanted an apartment in the city that would reflect his lifestyle. The first floor had a wonderful arched window, double height ceilings and an open plan. The challenge was to create separate areas for relaxing and dining that could feel warm and inviting. Each piece of furniture was thought of as a statement piece but because of the grandness of the apartment all the furniture has breathing space.
